Coiste Iomana Chairperson Kieran Farrell and his daughter Michelle are organising a fundraising Sports Table Quiz in aid of Children's Rights Charity “Plan Ireland” this Friday night at 9pm in Hannon's Hotel Roscommon. Entry for a team of Four costs €40 and MC Willie Hegarty will also interview some well known sports personalities during the interval.
In addition to the Quiz Kieran and Michelle will hold Bucket Collections at the Senior Hurling and Football Finals and to complete their fundraising efforts they will travel to Nepal at the end of October to take part in a 9-day trek along the foothills of Himalayas, while also visiting some of the children who benefit from the funds raised.
