Details of Roscommon's Coach Education courses for 2016 have being confirmed as follows.
Roscommon Coach Education Tutor group have decided we are going to hold dual football and hurling foundation courses together at the same venue with the theory, how to coach skills and ABC's on the Friday night followed by separate practicals on the Saturday morning at the same venue delivered by our football and hurling tutors.
In 2016 they are also going to have two indoor workshop nights for coaches in the crucial three key strands of our games in both football and hurling with a nursery programme, ABC programme along with an education part to the workshop on the new E-Learning website set up on the GAA portal which is a must for all underage coaches.

Dual Football and Hurling Foundation Courses

Dates- Friday January 29th 7.30pm to 10.30pm- Theory and ABC'S and how to coach skills.
Saturday January 30th 10am to 2.30pm practicals in both football and hurling.

Dates- Friday February 26th 7.30pm to 10.30pm- Theory and ABC'S and how to coach skills
Saturday February 27th 10am to 2.30pm practicals in both football and hurling.
Award One Youth/Adult Football Course
Venue Kilbride GAA Club
Dates Friday March 4th 7.30pm to 10.30pm
Saturday March 5th 10am to 3.30pm
Saturday March 12th 10am to 3.30pm
Indoor Nursery-ABC and Educational E-Learning Workshop
Age groups- 5-6 yrs, 7-8, 9-10
Venue- Strokestown Secondary School
Time- 7.30pm to 9.30pm
Venue Creggs National School
Time- 7.30pm to 9.30pm
Gaelic Games Child Protection in Sport Awareness Workshops.
Dates and venues for the above course will be set in January, every coach in 2016 coaching players up to 18 years must have this course done.
